Trying to fit back into a routine
to sleep in a set pattern
12 on 8 off
maybe vice versa

So maybe I'll get that worm
I've been wanting
the early bird does have
a sort of monopoly on that
sort of thing
Welcome home bird brain.

I've been pondering
Dread locks
piercing
hip hop
and other tribes
I've belonged to
innumerable teens
and tweens and so called
generation x'ers

were ushered into adolescence
by the shaman called tattoo
or shaman that pierced
all shamans teach
the good lesson

weather you know it or not
these ends justify those means
most don't know what they strive for
what they rally against
and if they do they cant articulate
what they fear from above
or from behind closed doors
at government headquarters.
